DAAD

DAAD is one of the largest funding organisations for the international exchange of students and researchers which was founded in 1925. The DAAD Regional Office in New Delhi was established in 1960 which aims to promote academic exchange between Germany and India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. It provides information about education in Germany, grants scholarships to students, invites scientists, supports bilateral research projects, language requirements, visa details etc.

Is your University Recognised?

Students may check the genuineness of Universities in Germany through the Higher Education Compass, which is an information portal of the German Rectors' Conference (Hochschulrektorenkonferenz – HRK) that publishes information about state and state-recognised German Universities including their study and doctorate opportunities and international partnerships. The German Rectors' Conference (HRK) is the association of public and government-recognised Universities in Germany.
